Joe McAtee Pelegrim is the quintessential "musician's musician". Total package. Equally adept at acoustic and electronic instruments, brilliant sound design, experimental yet soulful, forward thinking and futuristic while paying homage to great artists of the past, his music is endlessly fascinating. This album is chock full of beautiful moments, so it's hard to pick a favorite. But I just love the percussion on Her Incantation Tore Me Apart, so I chose that one. Favorite track: Her Incantation Tore Me Apart.

Jeff Haight Belial Pelegrim never disappoints, put headphones on and let your mind wander with this superb collection of sounds and imagery. Check out the brilliant echoing guitar leads on "I, Madman" a modern take on the kind of hypnotic groove King Crimson tapped into. Electronic music at its finest! Favorite track: I, Madman.
